Certificate 3 Animal Care Services – Pet Grooming PLUS Advanced Styling is suited to those wanting to fast track their grooming skills or wishing to open their own business. Includes 5 course manuals and training resources plus a Mr. Jiang Practice Model Dog. Graduates of this course will be fully prepared to obtain employment as a full time Finishing Groomer anywhere in the pet industry. Those who choose to start their own business will be able to do so confident in their ability to produce quality work and provide excellent customer service. This course offers students the opportunity to gain confidence and fast track their advanced styling and scissoring skills as well as work on time management and topics on opening a business. No experience is needed in the pet grooming industry to enroll in this course.
*Option free/voluntary work placement where Graduates can come in to one of our working salons and practice their skills in a supporting and positive environment giving Graduates an opportunity to work independently as a Groomer with their own clients.
This course runs for 8 weeks – the course can be tailored to each students’ individual needs and availability. Days can be made up as either part time or full time so students can fit it in with their work or family commitments.
In addition, for those students who complete this course, we offer an optional voluntary work placement in one of our salons where students can come in and get further practice and experience working in a salon with their own clients in a positive and supportive environment which prepares the student for employment as a professional groomer.

This course is designed for those wanting to enter the Pet Care Industry. It will allow for relatively fast entry into the industry as an extremely valuable team member. Graduates of this course can expect to find employment in groom salons, dog day care, boarding kennels, vet offices.
