Certificate 3 Animal Care Services – Pet Grooming PLUS Advanced Styling is a nationally recognised qualification in Australia. It is suited to those wanting to fast track their grooming skills to obtain employment as a Groomer or for those wishing to open their own business. Courses are run to suit students work and life commitments so can be completed full time or part time. Includes training resources plus the use of a Mr. Jiang Practice Model Dog. Those who choose to start their own business will be able to do so, confident in their ability to produce quality work and provide excellent customer service. This course offers students the opportunity to gain confidence and fast track their advanced styling and scissoring skills as well as work on time management. No experience is needed in the pet grooming industry to enroll in this course.
*Option free/voluntary work placement where Graduates can come in to one of our working salons and practice their skills in a supporting and positive environment giving Graduates an opportunity to work independently as a Groomer with their own clients.

COURSE DURATION
This course runs for 8 weeks – the course can be tailored to each students’ individual needs and availability. Days can be made up as either part time or full time so students can fit it in with their work or family commitments.
In addition, for those students who complete this course, we offer an optional voluntary work placement in one of our salons where students can come in and get further practice and experience working in a salon with their own clients in a positive and supportive environment which prepares the student for employment as a professional groomer.
Cost of this course is – $16,950 + gst.
